It finally came. The day KK graduated kindergarten. She will now and forever be a full time student. I have to accept my little baby girl is no longer little. As I look back on pictures, it seems surreal that she was ever so little. It truly goes by so fast. I used to get so bugged when people told me to enjoy it cause it will go by so fast. It seemed sometimes like she would depend on me forever and I used to get overwhelmed, but now I wish she was a little more dependent on me and a little less opinionated. I am going to try and take their advice now. I need to enjoy this age and stage cause before long it will be gone, too.
It was a good day....it began with this
They sang us three songs which was so precious. The songs were about learning and growing up.
I had to include this picture cause I think it truly captures how old and mature she is now.
KK waiting in line to get her awards.
Getting her award from her teacher, Miss Bratland (love love love her)
KK was so lucky to have her as a teacher. KK came home almost everyday and drew her a picture that always included KK writing how much she liked Miss Bratland.
KK had more people at her Kindergarten graduation than I had at my High School graduation. She is so lucky to be so loved.
Here is Trev's family
Great Grandma and Grandpa. They gave her a very special jewelry box with jewelry that they got from Jerusalem. KK always wanted to see and touch it at their house. She is one spoiled girl.
Great Grandma "G"
Grandma Slack
Four Generations....I love the way KK is standing and holding onto her grandpas.
Our Family picture...we are so proud of her. She did so well this year. I am amazed at how smart she is.
After her graduation, everyone went to Red Robin for lunch. It is KK's favorite.
Corbin loves his great grandpa. He will get a huge grin on his face when he sees them. Grandpa sent most of lunch sharing his strawberry lemonade with Corbin. Corbin would say bite and grandpa would share it with him like this....
Congratulations, KK we love you!!!!
