Flood....AGAIN!!!

I am not gonna lie...this flood about did me in.  I have such bad PTSD from our last one that when we saw water leaking from my roof I just sat down and did not know what to do.  Lucky for us Trista and Jason were over and helped move things along while I called the water mitigation people.  A pipe fitting had burst off and within 5 minutes had flooded my whole downstairs and was coming out of light fixture and running down walls.  It was 17 fans for 5 days just to dry it out and then another month of getting the house repiped and fixed.   I never want to go through this again!!!

Subway Hike

We love the Smith's because they do all the planning and then invite us along.  We are not planners and really last minute people so when they ask us to tag along on their adventures we are sure to say yes.  This year they got us a permit to hike Subway in Zions.  

We got up there and ate dinner with them at Texas Roadhouse and then walked to my sisters grave

The next morning we picked up our permits and started our hike.  It was perfect weather

We were sunburnt and tired at the end but it was so worth it
