Corbin Track Meet

Corbin signed up for track this spring. He is super fast and so we thought we would give it a try.  He did really good and I loved seeing his face when he finished.  He ran just fast enough to be in first place.  He would look around while running and would run just a little faster than the next person.  He didn't realize he wasn't just racing against those in that heat but everyone in his age group so he missed first place by 1 second. I love watching him grow, learn and build confidence in himself.

Corbin Heart and Soul

Corbin is my funny creative kid.  His imagination is always going and he could entertain himself for hours.  I hope he never loses that but learns how to work with it.  Since he is so creative and imaginative it is very hard for him to focus and pay attention to things that don't hold his attention....which includes school.  He is very smart but doesn't always want to put forth the effort.  So the last couple of years he has struggled.  We lucked out and go an amazing teacher for 3rd grade who did everything she could to help him succeed.  It was still a struggle but it made a difference.  He was so proud to receive this award.  It was for how hard he tried and how he did the best he could.  He tried who his whole "heart and soul".  He was so excited to see me walk in cause he knew he was getting it.  I am proud of how hard he worked this year.

Easter 2019

Easter Morning is my favorite.  I just love the time with my family. I love breakfast with my family and the easter egg hunt in the house.

That night we had Waite family over and had another hunt.

Ice Skating

Spring Break was so fun this year.  I love the ages of my kids.  They have been asking me to take them back skating for a while so we thought why not.  It was so dead inside and not alot of other people which made ice very slick so the twins were having a hard time but they finally figured it out.
