Track Meets with Corbin

Corbin started track this year. It was not something he enjoyed in the beginning but he stuck with it and loved it.  He pushed himself and PR almost every race.  For high jump he cleared 5"4' and for the 400 he ran it in 55.41.  I love watching this kid try new things and see him excel.  He is so fun to watch and he is one of the most hilarious people I know.  I hope he never doubts what he can accomplish.  I am lucky to be his momma.  

Grandma Slack's Bday

For my mom's bday this year we made it a whole night.  We started with dinner at Red Lobster and then ended with a comedy show.  I am so grateful for my mom and the sacrifice she made to support and love us.  She is the best example of Christlike love and true charity.

Church Shenanigans

A perk of Trevor being on the stake high council is him having keys to the buildings.  We had the kids invite their friends and played dodgeball and hide and seek.  We were there for over 4 hours...way longer than I thought they would last.  

 

Zions youth

I have never been to Zion's Youth so when Aidan asked if we wanted to go to support his girlfriend Jane and my niece Kaylee I agreed.  We decided to take the whole family to instill some culture into their life.  They did better than I thought they would and I loved listening to the kids play and sing.

Hiking with the twins

For my bday, I told the twins I wanted to go on a hike and so they agreed to come with me.  I love spending time with them.  The hike was a little less than 5 miles and the 1st mile there and back was all in the sun so wasn't the best start but after that it was nice.  I love watching them grow into their own personalities and see the glimpse of the men they will one day be. I am one lucky momma.

43rd and 42nd Bday

I love that Trevor's and my bday are so close together because we usually make it a day of spending it together with shopping and eating.  This year we did just that.  We got some good shopping in and then went to a new Mexican restaurant.  It was pretty good but probably wouldn't go back.  I love that 25 years later I get to still share my bday celebrations with this man.  He truly is the best and makes my life so full and complete.
