Randomness

Oh how life really does just fly by and there are some things that I just don't want to forget.

Corbin wanting to ride this train every time we leave Walmart

Corbin and Aidan fighting over who is going to be my helper and the salsa ending up the victim in the process

Corbin waking up at night cause his legs hurt and falling asleep on me while I rub them

Spending a relaxing evening eating frozen yogurt with KK and Aidan

Kids chilling on the tramp as they finish their sno cone they got from school

My kids are growing up and as they do I realize more and more how true the saying....enjoy them while they are young cause it doesn't last long.  That saying used to bug me and I don't know if its me getting older or because I know I will not be having anymore but I truly am trying to enjoy the little moments that I know before long will be just a memory.

Logandale Fair 2013

The kids look forward to the Logandale fair each year.  It has become a tradition.

KK is not afraid at all of heights and loves to jump high
 and do flips

Aidan thought he would like it but he made it 10 seconds before he wanted out.

He does not like heights or the feeling of falling

Mirage Field Trip

Kaitlyn's class went on a field trip and I was lucky enough to get to tag along. I am just trying to enjoy these years where she still likes to have me hang out with her.

KK and I on the bus

We went to the Mirage to see the cool animals.  I remember being her age going on a field trip here.  It helps me realize just how long ago that really was.

We got to see the dolphins do cool tricks.

Her class getting a lesson on some cool dolphin facts.

KK in front of the white tiger

On our way back to the bus.

I love my KK and grateful she gets to be my one and only girl!

Aidan Boy

I love my little Aidan boy....even when he is being just that....a BOY!

He was climbing over the seat in my car (which I have told him not to do) and fell and busted open his lip.

Aidan had a field trip where his whole class walked to a park by the school and they got to play.  They invited families to join them there so I went....this is the only face he would make for me....his classic goofy face.

Another goofy face when I tried to take it with his friend.

He is original that is for sure....and I love him for it!

Experiments

I have been wanting to do these experiments with my kids for years but not until now did I get everything I need together to actually do them.

The first was the mentos in coke.  My kids thought it was the coolest thing that they had to put the mentos in and run.

The second experiment we did was the baking soda in vinegar.  We did that one multiple times and they laughed every time it overflowed...I of course forgot to get pictures of that one.

Aidan soccer

Aidan is playing soccer this season and loves it cause 3 of his friends are on the team.  He loves to get out and run and I love it because it gives him a way to get his energy out.

He was goalie in one of his first games and did a really good job.

KK Soccer

KK is playing soccer this spring and is loving it.  She has a coach that is actually there to make sure the kids learn the skills they need to play soccer.  He is a little intense sometimes but she is learning a lot.

The first game KK played really well.  The last half of the game she played goalie and stopped two goals.

I love seeing her grow and learn new things.  I am just glad she enjoys it!
