Float the River

When Trista and I went on our mothers weekend we found a secluded part of the river we thought would be fun to bring the kids back to so we planned a day trip to La Verkin to float the virgin river.  We went with Trista's family and took their 15 passenger van so we could drive all together.  The kids had a blast.  We floated the river, played football, swung on the swings and used the rope bridge.  We got pizza for lunch and ice cream on the way home.  I definitely want to do that again.

 

KK so thoughtful

 KK knew I was having a hard few days so she sent me some stuff that brightened my day.  She is so thoughtful and I am not sure how I got so lucky.  

KK new Dog...Toby

KK and Mason got a new puppy. They named him Toby. He is a cutie.  I forget all about the teething and potty training phase.  He is so chill and we can't want to meet him.

Davyn went on his 8th grade trip to Magic Mountain so we had a 4am drop off at the school.  He loved the trip and now loves roller coasters.

While Trevor and I were in Seattle Hollie watched my boy for most of the days.  They went and watched Brendan play his hockey game

Jade and Davyn stem tank presentation for school. They talked the counselor into putting them into the same group this year.

We have an older lady in our ward who makes the best salsa.  This was only 10 minutes after she dropped it off to us.  It does not last in our house.

 

Peck's Wedding

Peck and Tyron got married so it was nice to have the whole family tougher again.  KK and Mason flew down for the weekend and Whitneys family was here. The morning of we all went swimming and then got cleaned up for the wedding.

Boys Camp

Trevor, all three boys and Maddox went to Boys Camp this year.  I was home by myself for 3 days.  It was nice but weird at the same time.  They went up to Panguitch and stayed in the cabin.   They came home happy and said it was such a fun time so win all around.  The trip included baptisms for the dead, fishing, hiking the narrows, snow ball fights, pool, poker, and hanging out.  I love that their dad gets to go and experience this with them.
