Nov Misc

Nov Misc...

Corbin got some mustaches from school so we played dress up

the kids watching a movie together in the fort

Twins playing video games instead of shopping for Christmas presents

I am proud and lucky for the opportunity to vote.

Daddy gave the boys shaved heads.  The twins loved it the first day but then cried and wouldn't leave the house without a hat for 2 weeks because they said people would laugh at them....they are 4....not sure where they get this stuff.

Jade

Davyn got really sick so we ended up in urgent care at 2 am....he was all smiles though

Twins playing chess....they play a real game with their made up rules.  It is funny to listen to them play because they both know what their rules are.  I love having twins.

Jade picking out CoCo present for Christmas. He thought she would love a lizard.

I was working out one day and Davyn walked in stretched out on the bench and said....Ahh yeah that's what I am talking about....I love their little sayings

Aidan getting a badge for cub scouts

Corbin definitely has his own style....I guess this is how we roll in this house....snow boots and shorts.  I love how he knows what he likes and doesn't care.  I hope he stays that way.

Dirty Bird 5K

KK has been asking to run a 5k with me so I signed her, Aidan and me up for the Dirty Bird.  It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving....helping us run off our Thanksgiving dinner.

It was freezing so we hung out in the car until right before it started.

The kids did amazing.  KK started off fast and me and Aidan stayed together at a slower pace.  At mile 1, we caught up to KK and we ran the rest of the way mostly together.  I was so impressed with them.  They wanted to do it and they did.

Afterwards we walked around to look at the beautiful park.

On the way home, we stopped by Tropical Smoothie for some breakfast.

I think this just might become another one of our traditions!!!

Red Rock Hike

Red Rock Hike...it has been to long.  I love this time of year and weather.  I love to get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful landscape.  We have had a pass to Red Rock but we have not used it nearly enough.  We took a family trip up on Saturday to try a hike we haven't done before.

Jade chilling with his hat sideways and his feet relaxing on the front seats.

The beginning of the trail

Davyn kept stopping to draw snake trails in the sand.

We came upon some rocks to climb so we stopped to let the kids play.  Corbin was a champ climber and was to the top of them all before the others could figure it out.

KK

Davyn and Jade as king of the rocks

KK and Daddy

Twins conversing with KK and Corbin on other rock

Me and my love

Aidan with his binoculars

I loved this tree so made the boys take a picture with it.

Thanksgiving 2016

Thanksgiving 2016. We went to G Ma and Papas house in the early afternoon.  We went to the park, played in the jump house in the backyard, ate to much, decorated gingerbread houses and men, and played games...it was a success!

Dad had to carry Aidan home so he didn't poo his pants...you never know with his bowels!!!

Summerlin Downtown Parade

2nd annual Downtown Summerlin Parade.  We start the night off with a stop at Sugar Candy store. They get to fill a bag of candy to eat while we watch the parade.  Gianna joined us this year. I love traditions!

End of Soccer Season

I loved this season of sports.  It kept my kids busy and they learned a lot.  I can't lie though and say I was sad when it ended.  3 months of 4 days a week after school and then all day Saturday was hard on this momma.  My kids were lucky enough to get really good coaches.

Corbin got his old coach from last time so it made it easier cause he knew Corbin.  This is the trophy ceremony after their last practice.

KK's last soccer game

 and party

The twins loved soccer and would ask how many more days until they could play again each week.
