Craft Group

I started a craft group.  My kids definitely need the social interaction and I need the motivation to actually do it so I figured it I started this I would have other people to motivate me.  Aidan loved having all his friends over.  We painted pumpkins.  The kids liked it but I think they just like being together and don't really care what they do.

It was fun.

The next week Hollie was in charge and we made ghost by painting the kid's feet and made spiders by painting the kids hands.

The next week I was in charge and we made turkey headband made with their hands.  They didn't last very long but they had fun making them.

Soccer Pictures

It has been fun to watch the kids learn how to play soccer. KK has practice two time a week and Aidan has one and then they both play a game on Saturday.  It is amazing how quick they pick things up.

KK chilling before a game.

We are to cheap to buy soccer pictures so Trev took some of his own.

Corbin Sick

Corbin had been sick off and on for over 3 weeks.  I think a lot had to do with him teething. He was getting his canines and molars at the same time.  The poor boy didn't want to eat anything.  He would just want to be held.  So needless to say he spent  alot of time watching his ipod.  He would wake up in the morning ask for it and if we didn't give it to him he would throw a fit.

Yes....that is his breakfast hanging out of his mouth

The new thing he started doing is using his pillow as his blanket.  He will lay on his blanket and cover himself with his pillow.

I am so glad he is over it...I don't know how much more whining I could of handled.

Pumpkin Patch and Painting 2011

My kids look forward each year to picking their own pumpkin at the pumpkin patch.  We got smart and went the first day it opened this year.  We had plenty to choose from.

It's so funny watching the kids decide what pumpkin they want  but when they decide they stick with it.  I would for sure think they would want to switch it a million different times but that wasn't the case.  I guess they knew what ones were destined to come home with us.

All prepped and ready

Corbin lasted longer than I thougt he would.

Chocolate Halloween

G Ma gave us a Halloween chocolate making kit at the beginning of September.  Ever since then my kids have been begging me to do it.  Me, being the mean mother, told them they had to wait until October.  So Sept 30th,  I caved and we did it for family home evening.

My kids love anything craft like so they throughly enjoyed being creative with their chocolate creations.

Corbin helped a little but he enjoyed eating it more.

They were delicious!!!

1st grade Open House

Kaitlyn loves her new school and she loves her teacher, Mrs. Smith.  The school had an open house so I was able to go meet her teacher...the one I hear so much about.

KK showing off some of the stuff she has done.

I love my little girl!
