Mission Call/Graduation Party

We had a high school graduation party that turned into a missionary call party as well.  As Aidan was walking to his car from his graduation ceremony he got the email telling him where he would serve his mission so we turned his one party into both.  He got called to the Kobe Japan mission. It has been his dream to go to Japan and he even took 3 years of college Japanese to help prepare him. He gave up track his Senior year so he could take his third year of Japanese because the times overlapped.  He definitely   sacrificed for what he wanted and felt inspired to do.  

Dad, KK, and I took Aidan out to dinner that night to celebrate.  

 

Aidan's High School Graduation

This kid is absolutely the best.  He has been so fun to watch grow up and figure out who he is and what he wants out of life. I love watching him put in the hard work for things he wants to accomplish and to not shy away from doing what it takes.  He is willing to sacrifice now for things in the future.  I am not sure where he got his drive but I love it as his momma.  

His High school graduation was epic and celebrated with so many people who love him.
