Flip N Out

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we decided to go to Flip N Out.  It is a trampoline/jump house place that KK has been begging to go to.

Aidan and Kaitlyn waiting outside for the others to arrive.  I love their cute faces!!!

KK taking Annabelle down the slide

Pile up at the end of the slide.  I love the way Aidan and Indie are looking at each other.

Aidan cried at first but then realized he wasn't going to die.

Papa and G Ma jumping with the grand kids.

KK, G Ma and Aidan playing dodge ball.

Afterwards we went to In N Out for lunch.  It was a great way to end the weekend.

Waite Thanksgiving 2011

It is a tradition for the Waite side to get together the day before Thanksgiving at the Stake Center for a huge meal.  I love it cause it gives the kids a chance to see all their cousins and second cousins they don't see that often.

Family Picture...KK got dressed up because she would be playing her violin that night for everyone and thought it was necessary to wear her favorite dress.

We invited Grandpa Slack to join us.

At the end of dinner, we had anyone who wanted to share their talents perform for us.  Great Grandpa Waite went first by playing his harmonica.

The kids were memorized....

Especially Corbin

All the kids sang I am a child of God as Grandpa played the tune.

Always best of buds

Kaitlyn played her violin.  She was so nervous and even cried when we told her she had to play. After her first song though she didn't want to stop playing.  We had to stop her after song number 4.

Crew then performed the Pledge of Allegiance.  After that KK, Aidan, and Crew sang Book of Mormon Stories.

It was a fun night even though I ended eating myself sick.

KK's Thanksgiving performance

I love the new school Kaitlyn goes to.  I especially love her teacher, Mrs. Smith.  She is the best and so good with the kids but still has high expectations.  For Thanksgiving, Mrs. Smith gave all the kids parts they had to practice at home for over a week.  The day before Thanksgiving break, they invited all the parents to come and watch their performance.  They were all dressed up and it was hilarious to watch.  I wish I would of taken more pictures but I was busy video taping the performance.

KK before her performance

It is something she enjoyed a lot and still talks about. I love my little actress!

Why mommy is away the kids will play

At the beginning of November, there was a Time Out for Women up in St George.  Well my friend's parents own a cabin in Pine Valley so we decided to make a girls weekend out of it.  We left Friday morning and came home Sunday night.  It was a much needed vacation.  Well while I was away Trevor made sure the kids had so much fun.  They went to the Thunderbird show and then came home and had pizza

And then they made ice cream worm houses.  The kids thought it was the greatest.

I am so grateful for a husband who lets me get a way every now and again and doesn't complain about it.  I am one lucky girl.

Thunderbird Show

Trevor loves jets.  He went to the Thunderbird show when he was a kid with his dad and he wants to continue the same tradition with his kids.  I was away on a girls weekend so he braved going with all 3 kids by himself.

He was prepared with headphones and everything.

They said they had a blast.  Hopefully next year I will be in town.

Corbin 2nd Birthday (part 2)

On his birthday he woke up to opening presents....even before breakfast.

KK worked hard to buy him a pillow pet.

Corbin saying cheese for the camera.

Morning Family Photo

Corbin loves Pho (well we all do) so that is what he got for lunch.  We had lots of family there to help celebrate his 2nd birthday.

Corbin 2nd Birthday (part 1)

I can't believe my baby is 2.  How he has grown up in the last couple of months.  He is into everything and I mean everything.  I can not leave him alone or I will come back to a mess. He is also very sneaky.  He will wait until you turn away before he does something he knows he is not supposed to do.

The Sunday before his birthday we had a Waite family Birthday party.  He loves G Ma's cupcakes.

He loved opening his presents but I don't know who was more excited....Corbin or Aidan.

This was the boys favorite!!!! A car race track.

We only had a number 4 candle so that is what he got.

Aidan and KK enjoying his ice cream

Happy Birthday Big Boy!!!!

Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

Trevor loves loves loves to cook and bake.  He just doesn't like to eat it.  He wanted to try out a cinnamon roll recipe so he made them one Sunday morning.

Don't they look delicious?

KK is obsessed with taking pictures of herself with things so she wanted to take a picture with the cinnamon rolls.

She then made Dad do the same.

They turned out delicious and huge.  Definitely a keeper!!!!

Halloween 2011

Halloween was a lot of fun this year.  We started the night off with making a Halloween dinner.  We had bread bowls that dad crafted into pumpkins....

But they were filled with brains (spaghetti)

We went to our ward trunk or treat.  Dad was a nerd.  I was the devil.  KK was a vampire.  Aidan and Corbin were skeletons.

The Trio...Christina, Hollie, and Me

The boys....Devin, Aidan, and Gavin

All the kids waiting for the OK to dive into their candy.

Trev and Nelson handing out candy.

He will always be MY nerd!!!!

We ended the night by visiting Great Grandma and Grandpa.
