Glow in the Dark Dance Party

I love our tradition of having dance parties.  It entertains and tires them out at the same time.  Trevor thought we needed 2 big black lights to add to these dance parties.  The kids love dressing in white so they glow in the dark while they dance.

Brace Face

KK got her bottom braces on finally now so she is an official brace face.  Can't believe she is old enough to have braces.  

(It was an early morning appointment so don't mind her hair not being done)

Playing in Backyard

I love having twins.  They have a best friend to play with always.  I love the twins age right now because they are starting to use their imagination and can play for hours.

It is finally getting nice enough to play outside so on this afternoon the boys had fun moving rocks back and forth to make piles.  They worked hard and had so much fun!

Aidan gets his Bobcat

Aidan turned 8 and now he gets to go to cub scouts.  I know absolutely nothing about scouts but am learning.  He received his bobcat and got his patch by completing some requirements.

He also got to participate in a space derby.  He loved building it with his dad and though he didn't win it was cool watching them fly their planes they made.

Shiner

The many things that come along with having boys in the bumps and bruises that happen almost everyday.  Corbin's headed collided with Jade's foot causing Corbin to get a black eye.  It got so huge we were worried he broke his nose.  It lasted for weeks before it went away...

Davyn's head also connected with the railing on the stairs to make this shiner.  I am grateful stitches were not needed.

Cedar City Half Marathon

I don't know why sometimes I do this to myself but I signed up for another 1/2 marathon.  I ran it last year and wanted to beat my time so thought I would run it again.  We made a girls weekend out of it.  Pansy, Jana, Tiffeny and I went.  We went up Friday afternoon.  We stopped and ate in St George at Cappriotti's.  We then went to Cedar City and checked into our hotel room which is just across the street from our race so it made it really nice the morning of the race. 

It was so cold that morning as we waited on the bus to take us up the canyon.

After we showered and shopped in St. George before we headed back to Vegas.

Twins first Day of Preschool

My babies are all grown up....they started preschool.  They absolutely love it and talk about it all the time.  In the short time they have gone they have already learned so much. I am grateful I have a sister who has been able to teach all my kids.

Hiking

For Labor Day we went to Mount Charleston and went hiking.  It was so nice and a much needed break.  

Here we stopped to eat lunch on a log and where Peck announced she is pregnant with her 3rd kid.

Our second stop and Daddies lunch break...again.

It is a beautiful hike and all the kids did amazing.

We only went about half way and turned back around...one day we will complete the whole hike.  Great day as a family

Bathing at G Ma's

This is how we roll at G Ma's...we shower outside in our swim suits.  All the kids love it besides Jade.  He cries the whole time.  Gotta love our crazy ways!

Trevor's First Business Trip

Trev has been an attorney now for about 6 months.  He is loving it and has been blessed to have many clients in a variety of areas of law. It has allowed him to learn a lot in a short amount of time.  He went on his first business trip to Reno to meet a client.  They loved him of course and it was a successful trip.
