Spartan Race

Trevor and Nelson signed up for a Spartan race in LA so we decided to make a couples trip out of it.

The night we got in we stopped at the LA Temple.

It was beautiful at night

and we walked downtown and the boardwalk

The next day they had their race.  It was so fun to watch and made me want to do the next one.

That night we hit the town

We ate at a great mexican restaurant and then did some shopping 

The last day we decided to hit the beach on the way home.  In the parking garage the boys were good samaritans and helped a lady change her tire.

Hollie and I stayed in the car to read but ended up just laughing at ourselves.

We finished the day off right with some relaxing beach time.

Camp Rhino

Aidan went to Camp Rhino for his field trip.  I didn't get to go but my friend snapped pictures for me.

Christmas Ornaments

I love traditions!!!  I always wanted them growing up so I am always trying to make "traditions" for our family.  This is one I think the kids really enjoy...picking out a new ornament each year.  It is fun to see what they pick out each year.  It certainly shows their personality.

Corbin Baptism

Corbin's Baptism Day

I am impressed we got this picture.  I was hoping for a family one as well but since he is the 3rd child it just didn't happen.  It was a great day though.  He was able to get baptized with one of his good friends and then we went back to our house for juice and donuts.  I am so proud if him and the wonderful young man he is becoming!!!!

Robotics Competition

Aidan joined the robotics team this year.  He stays after school twice a week to work with his team to get ready for a competition in December.  They have worked really hard and it showed since they made it past this round and will be in the championship in January.
