Helping the Homeless

2nd Annual Helping the Homeless

We started small last year with 30 lunches and we wanted to do it bigger this year so we invited families to do it with us.  We had over 40 helpers and made 575 lunches as well as over 100 beanies that were homemade by Great Grandma Waite and her friends.  It was organized craziness and very memorable. We assembled the lunches at my house

This lady cracked my up. She wanted us to take her picture wearing the beanie.

I hope my kids ,as well as myself, realize just how blessed we are and how much we have to be thankful for.

One of my all time favorite things about kindergarten is the Christmas Performance....I love it

After their performance we went to Winco to pick out treats for our move night to celebrate the holiday break starting

Daddies Christmas Early

Daddy hates surprises so when I got his present 2 weeks early knew I would have to hit it but after thinking about it I decided to give it to him early so he would be to surprised on Christmas.

KK and I made a scavenger hunt for him to find his presents.

Glittering Lights

Glittering Lights 2017....

We started the night off with dinner at Metro Pizza with G Ma, Papa and Peck's family.  We then headed over to the Speedway.  We have never had to wait before but this year was crazy so we ended up waiting over and hour and half.  We entertained ourselves with pictures and of course...NETFLIX.

Gingerbread Contest

Anther Tradition....1st Annual Waite Gingerbread Contest.

We have decorated them in the past but this year we started the team competitions.  We had 20 minutes to work in a team to come up with a theme and decorate out house.

We had a hansel and Gretel house that invited you in to eat but then you were taxidermied and put in the yard for decorations

Their house and theme was dead santa clause....since Santa was dead inside of house

Dad was the deciding vote and he choose Davyn and I so year one goes to us. I am so glad we go video of dad in his announcer costume and voice cause its priceless.
