Thanksgiving week part 2

Staying up way to late playing games.  They were so loud with laughter we got yelled at my the other parents...oops!

Thanksgiving in Utah part 1

We spent Thanksgiving Week up in Utah.  Whitney and Nick built a new house and were nice enough to let the whole family stay there for the week.  All 12 grandkids were together for 4 days.  We had so much fun and the kids stayed up way too late but we made so many fun memories.

Indie and I took a walk so she could give me a tour of her neighborhood and she did some funny dares

A good portion of our week was spent at the church playing pickle ball.  We got addicted and we went there usually twice a day to play.

At night we had the girls make up dances to words I would throw out...like grasshopper and dragonfly

 

Alanna's Wedding

My niece Alanna got married.  When did I get old enough to have nieces getting married?  It was so much fun.  We ate, hung out, and had too much fun in the photo booth.

 

Drivers Permit

Kaitlyn has been counting down the days for the last year.  She was bound and determined to get her permit on the day she could so she made her own appt on exactly the first day she possible could.  She studied hard and she passed on her first try.  We celebrated with some yogurtland...and she drove us there. Can't believe she is that old!!!  

 

Gold Strike Hike

I have been wanting to do the Gold Strike Hike for a while now but last time we tried it was shut down.  We left the little at my moms since we didn't know if they would make it and took Brooklynn and Kaylee with us.  It was a beautiful and fun hike.

It ends at some hot springs that we sat in for a while as we played truth or dare

 

on the way back we met our friend Harry the Tarantula

Kaylee and Corbin were struggling the last mile or so....so they broke a brownie in half and carried it the last mile in their hand and made a pact to not eat it until the end.  When we reached the car they cheered their brownie before eating it.

Corbins 11th bday

Corbin turned 11. I can not believe he will be getting the priesthood and going into Young Mens at the beginning of the year. He is becoming such an amazing young man.  He is being homeschooled and he has grown leaps and bounds this year.

He had his bday party this year and loved it. He has such good friends and cousins. I didn't really have to do anything for the party.  They just entertained themselves.

They watched a movie 

and then played outside and in the hot tub.  It was outside freezing but they didn't seem to care.

 Dad made his cake according to Corbin's directions.
