Girls Trip 2021

I have so many good fiends and I am lucky enough to sneak away once a year with this group to laugh and decompress.  This year was a little different because my sister Tami was getting sealed in the temple so I spent a day driving back and forth but it was still nice to get away.

We went to see Great Grandma and Grandpa in Utah and stopped at the park on the way home.

Another park day....went back to an old one we used to go to all the time...Dinosaur park.  There were alot of changes.  We then ended the say with playing freeze tag on the field

The younger boys spent the night at Grandma Slack's house so we took the older kids out to dinner.  The kids love ribs especially when they can have all they want and don't have to share.  KK wouldn't let me take a picture but Aidan had no shame.

Trista hosted the party this year.  We are lucky to live so close to family.  My kids love being able to see their cousins all the time.  We had an easter egg hunt.  Aunt Tina brought eggs with money in them so all the kids were excited to participate this year.    

The twins had to leave early for a soccer game so they came dressed in their uniform.

Sister Staycation

Since we had an amazing staycation we convinced Trista and Jason they needed to have one so we took the kids for 2 days so they could have time to be alone before they new baby comes.  I was a lot of fun but I had forgotten how much work little kids are.

I was a fun weekend but I definitely spent the next day recuperating 

 

Daddy makes partner

One the 6th year anniversary of Trevor starting work at Alverson Taylor....they made him partner.  He is the most dedicated and hard working person I know.  He gives it his all and more all the while balancing family life.  It has certainly not been easy but he has given so much and deserves this promotion.  I am so proud of him and can't wait to see where the future takes us.
