Logandale Fair

My kids love the Logandale fair.  We have missed a few years because of Covid and other things but we made it happen this year.

Half Marathon with Scoot

Corbin has wanted to run a half marathon with me forever.  A few years ago Aidan and I signed up to do revel but because of Covid it got postponed.  Aidan is running track right now and his shins and hip have been hurting so felt it would be best not to add to his strain so Corbin volunteered to run it with me.  We had planned to train but with homeschool and other things it just never seemed to happen.  We figured we would still do it and give it our best shot.  It was such a beautiful morning and it started off pretty good.  

 Half way through we turned to the walk and run method and the last 2 miles were a struggle but we were determined to finish.  

We did it under 3 hours and I was so proud to see his determination and drive to complete what he started.

 

Girls Trip for Aubrey 40th

We are getting to the "over the hill age" so we have to celebrate.  Aubrey's husband planned a surprise party so Michelle flew in to make it a girls weekend.  Mark had professional make up and hair artist come to her house to help us get ready.  

We went to the Carrie Underwood Concert

and then got shakes and fries and a little shenanigans with pole dancing and running threw the fountain

The next morning we at delicious food and went to the spa

We ended the night at a movie

 I am blessed with amazing friendships and grateful for wonderful women who inspire me.

Trista Bday

My baby sister has a bday so we went to get pedicures and grab lunch.  I am grateful for my family and blessed to have my best friends as sisters.

 

Military Ball

KK went to the military ball with Colton.

 

Track

Aidan joined track this year and grew to love pole vault.  He got better and better as the season progressed.  I love seeing his determination when he is trying to accomplish new things.  

 

Scripture Study

I can't wait to hear how my kids scripture studies go with their future kids cause this is how ours goes....

 

Basketball

The twins played competitive basketball for their school. They only wanted to sign up if Jackson played but he did not make the team.  They wanted to quit many times but stuck with it.  They loved practice but the games were a little much.  They only played a few minutes each game and the pressure was a lot sometimes from the other boys.  Their team made it to the championship but they lost in their first game.  They decided basketball is not their love and don't want to play again.
