Soccer

Soccer takes over our lives during the last couple months of school.  Aidan was on a club team as well as a rec team.  Corbin made his Middle Schools team as well played on a rec team.  The twins just played on a rec team.  Between games and practices our lives were crazy but I love watching accomplish new things.  

Aidan's rec team were a bunch of kids who were so busy with other things that they only played games on weekend and didn't have any practices.  It was such a fun team to watch. It was just a bunch of friends out to have a good time.

Aidan's team and Corbin's team went against each other in the semi final game.  Corbin's team was up 3 to 1 with less than 10 mins left but Aidan's team came back to tie it making it go to a shoot out.  Aidan's team took the win but it was such a good game to watch.

School Presentations

The twins go to a magnet school and so they don't have finals. They do projects as a group that they work on all semester and then at the end they have to present them to the school and for parents.  They both did amazing jobs.

Lunch date with the yahoos

As kids get older it gets harder and harder to have one on one time so I love when it works out.  Aidan took KK and I to all you can eat sushi for lunch one day.  He is so sweet and took us to celebrate KK's bday and mother's day.  I love hanging out with my kids.  They have turned into some pretty awesome people.

The end of school can be crazy with so many activities but I love to celebrate their accomplishments and successes.

Corbin graduated from middle school and was surrounded by his friends...who happen to be mostly girls.  He is hilarious and so funny and all the girls love him.  I am so happy that this year he was able to make good friends who love to hang out and have fun.  

 

KK's 19th Bday

KK is 19...not sure how it happened. She drove down from Idaho for the week to spend her birthday with us.  We had a birthday party at Gma's with the whole family.  I love this girl and grateful I get to be her mommy.

 

Bleached Hair and Don't Care

Aidan had a group of buddies who wanted to shave and bleach their hair for the summer so I did it for them. It was colder outside then I thought so their hair didn't process all the way the first time so had to reapply.  It was a pain but I love watching boys be boys. Aidan is blessed to have a good group of friends to hang out with.  

 

Guitar Concerts

All three younger boys were in guitar this year so we have two guitar recitals at the end of the year. None of them like guitar and will not be continuing on but it was cool to watch them try their hand at a new skill.

Derby Fundraiser

The three younger boys had a pinewood derby fundraiser for their boys camp this summer.  They had to build and race their own cars.  They were responsible for getting sponsors for their car.  They did not win but it was a fun to watch them build their cars with Trev and then have family there to watch them race.
