Despicable Me 2

Sometimes my boys just need a mommy outing with out the twins, so we went to see Despicable Me 2.  They loved it and as long as they have popcorn they sit through the whole movie.

KK's New Hair Cut and favorite project

KK had been saying for over a year that she wants her hair cut short but always chickens out, until last week. 

 

I think she looks so cute but also older which I don't like. 

 

In science last year, KK learned out to make quicksand and wanted to try it at home.  We did and it was actually really cool. 

 

I love this face...it's such a girl face when we touch something gooey.

4th of July

We celebrated the 4th of July this year at Tina's house.  We swam and ate all day and then did fireworks at night.

If you noticed in the previous picture of Corbin he was not wearing shoes.  Yes...we should get parent of the year award.  Anyways, he was holding a sparkler and walked on the ashes that had fallen to the ground.  I felt so bad. We took him to the doctor the next day and got cream for it, but even now two weeks later it isn't completely healed.

Girls Day

One of my really good friends, Michelle, moved to Texas so we had a girls day before she left.

 

We started it with lounging at the pool.

 

Next was dinner at Maggianno's

We then went country line dancing at Stoney.  It was fun even though we had no idea what we were doing.

 

 

We finished the night off with a pole dance from Michelle and shakes.

 

It was a fun day but I am sad another one of my good friends has to move.

Ice Ice Baby

It has been so hot this summer....like melt in less than 2 minutes hot.  So our time spent outside is limited but we found an Hawaiian ice truck that is delicious.  It is so good that it is worth leaving the air conditioning to go stand in line outside to get one.

We have been a few times and I am sure there will be many more trips this summer.

New Dirt Bike

Trev has a lot of stress between work and law school so he was in desperate need of finding something he could do to let him relax and unwind.....so he bought a dirt bike. The kids love it.  The boys love riding on  the seat with dad as they go up and down the street but KK is a chicken and freaks out.

Aidan Kindergarten Graduation

Aidan did so well in kindergarten this year.  He loved going to school, tackling new concepts, and became a great reader.  He loved that he got to graduate with all his best friends.

I am so proud of this boy and he is so excited for 1st grade because he will "be able to bring his lunch and eat it at school next year."

KK turns 8 and is baptized

My little girl turned 8.  Oh, How I love my little spunky girl.  She truly has been a blessing in my life and is such a big help around the house and with her brothers.  She is the little mommy in our home.  

We were lucky enough to have my sister Tami who takes awesome pictures come into town so we had her take her baptism pictures.  

KK has been so blessed to have a lot of extended family who adore her and are role models for her to look up to.  She is one loved little girl.
