Thanksgiving Weekend

KK and Mason were able to come down and stay with us for 9 days over Thanksgiving break.  It was a lot of fun getting to hang out and meet Mason.  The twins love him and he was so patient teaching them the Rubik's cube so many times.  

Thanksgiving eve we had pho at Andreas house since Pecks girls were going to be at their dad's house.  Can never go wrong with Pho.

Thanksgiving was also spent at Andreas with lots of food, spa, and pickleball.

The next night we had the annual adults only dinner at a Thai place that was delicious

Saturday we went to the park and played flag football and soccer.

One of the boys mutual activities was going to the old pinball machine museum and actually get to play them.

 

Drivers Edge

Drivers Edge is a free course they offer kids to learn some defensive driving skills and practice.  Corbin took the class with Kaylee and then his friend Anna just happened to be there as well.  It was fun to watch him slide out and get behind the wheel experience with professionals.

 

Corbins 16th Bday

Another one bites the dust and become a big boy.  Corbin turned 16.  We had lobster for dinner and then had the whole family over for dessert on his actual bday to celebrate.

 Later that week he had a party at our house with 25+ kids.  It was rainy so the normal spa and games were out of the question so they played  hide and go seek in the neighborhood.  I guess kids were not following the rules and went in peoples backyards so one of the boys had a gun pulled on him.  Always an exciting time over here.  They ended the night at the Stake Dance.

Mission Phone Calls and Plaque

The highlight of our week is talking to Aidan.  I love catching up and keeping tabs on how he is doing.  

All Aidan wanted for Christmas was home made cards and letters.  Since it is Japan we had to mail them a month early just to make sure it made it there on time.  Jade even attached a picture of himself.

Aidan's mission plaque finally got finished and posted at the church.

 

Soccer Playoffs

Another soccer season in the books.  All 3 boys were on the same team again so it made for an easy weekend.  Soccer playoffs did not end the way they wanted them to but it was a good season nonetheless.
