Grandma Slack Bday

We are lucky to have my mom live so close and she has helped me so much in raising my children. She is such an example of christlike love and true charity.  I hope to be like her one day.  We celebrated her 74th bday at Red Lobster.  Layla enjoyed her bday ice cream.

 

Lone Mountain Hike and New temple site

One Sunday we decided to get some fresh air and spend some good time together by hiking Lone Mountain and checking out where the new temple is being built.  

We had a friend join us for our come follow me lesson and eat our food.

Second Time Snowboarding

Corbin and Trevor snuck away to Brian Head for snowboarding.  Trevor says Corbin is natural.  I love watching my boys try new things especially when they get to spend some good quality time with their dad.  

 

New Hockey Rink

A New hockey rink opened up and so we went and tried it out.  It was huge and slippery. It was a lot more busy and my boys enjoyed it but they liked our normal one better. I love these boys and glad they have such good friends they can have fun with.

 

Baptisms

 I love my boys and love it even more when we get to go to the temple together.  I am trying to make more of an effort of going more often and helping them come to love the temple as much as I do.  They have such amazing friends.  I am grateful for their examples. I hope my kids never doubt how much they are loved by me but especially hoe much they are loved by their Heavenly Father. We stopped at chipotle on the way home for lunch.

Braces Off Finally

Davyn finally got his braces off.  We went a few weeks ago thinking he would get them off but one of his teeth was not perfect so they had to tweak it a little bit.  He was not happy about having them for two more weeks but well worth the wait to have straight teeth. It's cray how much older he looks without them on.  We celebrated with an In n out burger and shake.  

 

RPC

Corbin is hilarious and the comedian of the family.  He will do anything for a laugh which unfortunately does not always mean he thinks things all the way through. He thought he would pull a prank and take the lug nuts off his ex girlfriend cars which in turn got him RPC and kicked off the track team for the whole season.  He could not return to school for 4 days so during that time he did yardwork for Trista, Tina and Tami.  He pulled Tina and Trista's weeds for two days and helped Tami garden for a day.

Birthdays

Trevor and I had another bday...44 for me and 43 for him.  Not sure how we got this old.  The good thing about us having close bdays is we get to celebrate them together.  This year we took the boys to Sushi with us.  It's our favorite food.  Trevor met us there but we forgot to take a picture together.  I am blessed to be married to my best friend and grateful I get to have another year by his side.

Sadie Hawkins

Corbin's forst official date.  He got asked to Sadies by a girl named Delaney.  It was so cute to see how she asked him.

They met at the park to take pictures, went to dinner at Olive Garden, and then went back to a friend's house to watch movies, play games, and hang out.
