The pictures uploaded backwards so they go from end of day to the beginning. The day started being overcast so we got to the beach a little later than usually but the boys swam, buried each other, and played spike ball. We then went home, showered and hung out before we came back out to watch the sunset and play a game of football. We ended the night with movies and playing the switch. It was weird not having KK and Aidan this year but we still had fun. I love all these boys.
In 1 month our baby girl will be getting married. It hardly feels real. One minute she was our little girl, and the next she’s starting this beautiful new chapter of her life. It has really made me stop and reflect on the last twenty years of being parents, and it’s also taken me back to when we got married. It feels like it was just yesterday, even though it has been almost twenty two years.
As a mom, you spend so many years hoping and praying that your children will find someone who truly loves them. Someone who will be kind to them, laugh with them, support them, and walk beside them through everything life brings. Someone who isn’t just their partner, but their best friend and biggest cheerleader. Seeing our baby girl find that kind of love is one of the greatest blessings a mom could ask for. It fills my heart with so much happiness knowing she is starting a life with someone who loves her and will stand by her side through all the adventures ahead. I am happy to add another son into our family.
