The twins fall asleep a lot in the car when I am picking the older kids up from school.  If they do they are down and out for the count and there is no waking them up unless you want the wrath of a whiny boy the rest of the night.

I love how handy Trev is.  He can fix just about anything and I love the he is teaching Aidan this trait.  They fixed our piano keys KK had broken when she was mad she had to practice.

I took the kids down to the container park to play but of course it was closed since it was raining so we got fries instead.

My kids love to go play at Grandma Slack's house.  Here is KK and Jade

We made fruit loop necklaces...anything to entertain them so they don't fight while I am making dinner

One of my really good friends and I getting out one night...I had to take a pic of her with all her dessert.

Our good friends Tiffeny and her husband invited us over to dinner one night.  Aidan had the biggest crush on their daughter Sofia...so I had to snap a picture of them sitting at a table by themselves eating dinner.   It was almost like their first date.

We have done some fun things as a family...

 went to Red Rock to hike and Trev and the 3 other kids hiked a big mountain to get a great view...

While I was away on my girls trip...Trev took the kids to Great Grandma and Grandpa's house

had spaghetti and meatballs for the first time

I love that my husband is so good to me and lets me sneak away while he holds down the fort.  I caught me a good one!

7th Annual Girls Trip

It's our annual 7th year girls trip and I look forward to this trip all year.  We went to Idaho falls and stayed at Brittany's house.  It was a little different since we had 2 infants and a prego lady but it was still so relaxing and nice to catch up.

We stopped at Smitty's where we had to try the deep fired bacon.  It was good with the gravy but I paid for it later.

We just hung out the first day shopping and getting settled.  That night we are at Railroad

The next day we made breakfast

and went hot tubing...our version of hot potting

The next day we went tubing in Brittanys backyard.  

We were pulled but an ATV...it was so fun and the snow was perfect

After dinner the last night we climbed a snow pile that was in the middle of a parking lot.  It doesn't take a lot to entertain us.

I tried to help by getting Emmett to sleep

We also made shirts..of course.  We kept it easy and just ironed on some vinyl

We stopped for root beer floats while making shirts

I love these ladies and am so blessed to have people who I can be myself with and they still love me....or at least pretend too!
