Aidan is 10....how did he get so big?  He wanted a link cake so dad worked his magic...

Happy 13th Anniversary

Happy Anniversary!!! 13 years have come and gone too soon. He really is my best friend who completely gets me and all my craziness. He is such a wonderful husband and father. He is the most genuine and sincere person I know. He is not afraid to be himself. He is not afraid of hard work and has sacrificed so much to provide for our family. He is the best dad and is so involved in his kids life. He knows when to be serious but has the best humor and loves to laugh. We think so much alike that sometimes it's kind of scary. He helps me want to be a better person just because of who he is and what he stands for. He surprised me today with a crossword puzzle. It walked us down memory lane. We went and visited some of our old places that held memories from when we were dating. It started with flowers since he used to buy me flowers at least once a week. Places we went...skinnyfats for dinner (since we both have been skinny and fat over the last 13 years), drove by his old house he lived in while we dated, we then made the drive we had to have taken over 1000 times between his house and my house. We listened to Chicago on the way since that was the songs he used to sing to me, went to winchells since we used to run there buy donuts and eat them while we ran back (literally), we then talked about the hospital all our babies were born at, our first house we lived in while we waited for our condo to be built, we ended the drive by visiting the temple since that's where our happily ever after officially began, we came home to our 5 kids who we shared our donuts with. We will then end the night watching the first episode of Dawson's Creek for old time sake. I am truly a blessed woman and so grateful to the love of my life!!!

Girls Camp 2017

Girls Camp 2017 part 1....It was such a beautiful and inspiring week. I am so grateful for the knowledge I have of this gospel. It is truly what brings me such happiness and peace. I am so blessed to be able to get away for a few days and be surround by some of the most inspiring and amazing girls. It was extra special since it was Kaitlyns 1st year at camp. Highlights.....cheeseball stuffing contest, spot it, zip line, archery, see saws, volleyball, rock climbing wall, seminary, skits, chants, stealing mascots, getting carried up the mountain, devotionals, hike, campfire story, bedtime stories, getting rained out and being evacuated, just dance at my house, bishopric dinner and testimony meeting around my TV campfire.
