First Track Meet

We tried Corbin in Soccer and it wasn't for him.  He is super fast so we thought we would try our hand at track and he loves it.   He is really fast and it is something that holds his attention.  His first track meet was kind of a disaster because it was so unorganized.  He was supposed to run two events but because of time he only ran one.  He loved it thought and enjoyed playing with all his teammates.

The twins have never done sand art and they saw KK and Aidan doing it in a home video and have been asking ever since.  I finally ordered a set and they loved it. 

Snow Day

The day after it snowed they schools closed schools for a snow day.  The day was bright and Sunny so we got the kids out of the house and went to FlipnOut Extreme

Unofficial Snow Day

We woke up to snow.  In all my years living in Vegas I have not seen this much snow.  My kids wanted to go play in in so we had an unofficial snow day.

Science Fair Night

The kids had science fair night. They could walk around the school and see everyones project.  Corbin missed out on going cause he had homework and attitude issues but the twins were able to go show daddy around.

Come From Away

For Christmas this year we bought his parents and his grandma tickets to a play called Come From Away.  It is about 911 and the aftermath with planes being grounded and particularly about this one town that took so many people in for days.  It was really good.

We started the night out with dinner and finished with the play.  

I love making memories and spending time with family!

Science Fair Project

Scoot has had a rough year at school.  He just wants to be outside so sitting in class all day is really tough for him.  When they gave us the assignment for a Science Fair Project I was very overwhelmed to say the least. I didn't know how he would do.  Lucky for me Daddy took over this responsibility and they worked on it together.  I was so impressed on how well he did and how much he learned and could teach.  He did great on his presentation. I just love this kid and hope he knows how smart he is. If he puts his mind to it he could accomplish anything!!!!

Valentines Day Hockey

Our second hockey game in one week.  Our friends invited us to go to a free hockey game. His company owns a box and had it available on Valentines Day.  It was so nice.  They fed us and we were able to hang out during the intermissions.

It was surreal being so close to all the players and watching them during the warm ups. I don't usually get star struck but man I had a huge grin on my face.

1st Vegas Golden Knights Hockey

We are crazy fans for our new hockey team the Vegas Golden Knights.  Our kids are obsessed (minus KK)  We had yet to go to a game so for Christmas I bought Trev and his parents tickets to a game. Peck and Annabelle also bought tickets so we had a fun night out of it.  It started with a CAT bus ride to the game

On security check in they told me my purse was too big so lucky for me Jason was working and saved it for me

It was such a fun experience and now we can say we are true fans...though I think I am partial to watching it from home.  I like the commentary too much and I like being able to scream and yell without getting rude looks.
