Aidan's 14th Bday

Happy 14th Bday to my favorite first son.  He is becoming one of my favorite people on this planet. There were a few years I didn't know if I was going to trade him in but glad I didn't.  He is very thoughtful and the always willing to help me out and more importantly make me breakfast.  He is becoming quite the cook. He makes dads banana bread each week and is now learning how to make dad's rolls.  He is thriving at high school and has made some good friends.  I hope he always knows I am in his corner and can't wait to see what he accomplishes in this life.

17th Wedding Anniversary

Happy 17 years to us.  You know you have been together a long time when on your anniversary you only get a picture of your food.  I mean it was delicious food at Echo and Riggs but still wish we would of snapped one of us.  I am so grateful to have him by my side.  It hasn't always been easy but so worth it. He still makes my laugh and one of my favorite people to be around so I think we will make it another year.

 

Freshman Orientation

Can't believe I have 2 high schoolers and I can't believe Aidan is a freshman.  I am feeling pretty old but so grateful to watch them grow confident in who they are.  It is nice to have a driver too so no early drives to seminary.  I hope they grow close and become each others biggest supports.

Dad's new job and office

Trevor has worked at Alverson Taylor for over 6 years.  It was hard but he learned so much and was able to gain a lot of experience.  One of his attorneys came and talked with him about her leaving for another job.  Long story short he reached out to the law firm and was offered a job.  It was scary and a lot of unknowns and mishaps along the way but now that it has been a few months he is loving it.

Utah Trip

We went to visit Whitney's family for a few days over the summer.  We brought Jerzie and Indie back up with us.
