Corbin Update

Corbin is homeschooled this year and so I have had more time individually with him this year than I have had in the past.  He is doing really well and I am confident he will be ready to go back to school for 7th grade.  

Getting a haircut

Part of his homeschool is taking an online STEM class.  He loves it and is doing really well.  As part of his call he has to do experiments at home and some of them are really cool.

Corbin will be getting braces and so we had to go get some consults to decide who his orthodontist will be.

We decided to do with KK's doctor.  One the day of our consultation they said they could put them on right then so he got them on.

As fun part of homeschool is you can have PE time at the park with your cousins.

He has been really interested in rock climbing so we went and spent a few hours trying it out.  He was scared at the beginning but by the end was scaling the walls with no problem.

Also he has been able to go to his Grandpa Slack's house to learn how to weld.  He has loved watching and learning and can't wait until he can try his hand at it.

 

Corbin's 12 Bday

Corbin turned 12.  I can not believe he is that old but he is growing into such a fine young man.  All he wanted for his Bday dinner was lobster so his dad made it happen and Corbin loved it.

Our neighbor dropped off some egg rolls and they were so good they were gone in less than 5 mins.

That night we played a card game and the loser (Aidan) had to drink a mix the winner (KK) put together that had 3 ingredients....hash browns from a box, pickles juice, and I can't remember the last one but it smelled so gross

the weekend after his bday we had his bday party

We got slurpees and went to the park and they played infection for an hour or so

Spa and Fire

I love the weather in Vegas and love when we can use our spa and have a fire at night.  I wish I could bottle these boys up and keep them young forever.

Halloween

 Halloween this year was on Sunday so it was a little different and pretty low-key.  We did NOT have our annual party at our house but we did go to our wards Trunk or treat.

We also went to the pumpkin patch the weekend of and got the biggest pumpkin we could find.
