Our ward trunk or treat was a blast this year.  They went all out and had bouncy house mazes and fun games. I know my boys are growing up so trying to enjoy these last years of holidays before they out grow them.

The twins were soccer players

Corbin was Bluey...he looked just like him....I love that kid.

Never a dull moment with him

Work Retreat

Trevor's work had their yearly work retreat in Salt Lake City.  We took it as a couples weekend.  We flew up friday.  They had us stay in the Grand America. The room was huge.

We went to a work meet and greet and then we skipped the company meal and found us some mexican food.

the snack stash we need in our hotel room just in case

Saturday we drove out to Logan and played Golf

Before we meet up a a cute place for dinner with his work.  It was gorgeous out there and we took a way to enjoy it.  I love anytime I can get with my man and am just reminded how lucky I am to have married my best friend. I hope all my kids get so lucky.

St. George Temple Open House

We took the boys up to St. George to go through the open house for the St.George temple.  I want the boys to experience and see all the temple is and grow to love it as much as I do.  The spirit and peace that comes from entering God's house is something I cherish.

Afterwards I wanted pictures and this is what I got.

Jade hung back and said he would take one with me.. I love my kind and soft hearted boy.

Walking back to the car got even better

We ended the night with some delicious Mexican food that Trev and I found while vacationing for our anniversary.  It was delicious and the boys loved it.

General Conference

I was at my Aunt's funeral the weekend of General Conference so Trev held down the fort and watched it with the boys.

Janet's funeral

My mom's sister passed away.  She was my favorite aunt.  Her name was Aunt Janet.  She was always so happy and positive.  She would always give you compliments, tell you how much you were loved, and how special you were.  She had been battling cancer for over a year and finally went home because of it.

I drove up with Tina.  Toresa drove up separate and dropped Maddox off to his dad before coming and staying with us for the weekend.  We rented an Airbnb.  We ate way too much food the night we got there.

The next morning Tina and I got up and listened to General Conference before we ate lunch and went to the funeral.

Shenanigans waiting in the chapel

The next day we picked up my mom and grabbed lunch before we headed home. It was nice to hang out and see my sisters who I don't get to talk to as often as I would like.  Funerals make you think about what is important, reflect on how you want to spend you time, and how you want to be remembered.
