Trevs new hobby

Trevor is always learning and trying new things. Right now his hobby is making his own watches.  I love that he is a jack of all trades and can pretty much figure out how to do anything.  He has created some pretty cool watches.

 

Seattle Get Away

Trevor surprised me and planned a weekend get away trip for mother's day.  We went to Seattle.  The weather we overcast and beautiful when we got there.  We took the train to our airbnb which was in the perfect location.  

That night we did a glassblowing class and made candy bowls.

We then walked to the space needle, got treats and ate pizza for dinner.

The next day we walked to the pier, the gum wall, and went on an underground tour.

We then shopped at the pier and tried some yummy foods

That night we walked to a yummy Mexican restaurant and explored more of the city

Our last morning we woke up and went for a walk to Olympic Park before we headed to the airport.  I love spending time with my best friend and hope all my kids get to experience marriage like we do.  We still like each other after almost 22 years.!

The weather has been beautiful so we have been going on evening bike ride on the trail by our house.

Sister Get Away

We tried to plan a weekend away with my mom but it just wasn't going to happen so Trista and I still planned a night away to celebrate being moms.  We went up to La Verkin to enjoy their hot springs spa.  It was nice to get away and enjoy a few hours with no kiddos.  The place was awesome with so many pools at different temperatures.  We went during the day and then went back and watched tv and relax before we grabbed dinner and then went back to the spa for a treat and late night soak. Their churros were delicious.

The next day we went on a little hike and found a cool spot by the river.  We want to take the kids back to play and float the river.

 

Mothers Day 2026

I love being a mom. It is all I have ever wanted to do.  I am not perfect and have made so many mistakes but I am so grateful I get to be the momma to my 5+1 children.  They give my life so much meaning and purpose.  I have loved watching them grow and become their own individual person.  I am grateful I get to be with them for eternity.  This year was awesome.  Andrea had the kids do a special program and gave us this painting (that is hanging by my bedroom door) 

This year my sisters and I were also able to get together for lunch to celebrate my mom.  We took her to BoneFish Grill.

We went and experienced the Walk with Christ event they held at our church. It was special to experience his life and think about the week that led up to his resurrection.
