Gilcrease Pumpkin Patch

Its tradition that every year we go to the orchards and pick our pumpkins.  The kids look forward to it.  They love searching for their perfect pumpkin.

We finished our visit with some apple cider glazed donuts.  They are to die for.

 

Trevs painting

Trev is amazing at just about anything.  He comes up with random things he wants to do and then he does them.  The nice things is that he does them really well.  Just some examples are, buying and old car and fixing it up, making a violin from scratch, making etchings and wood carvings, and the newest one...painting with his fingers.  I would never have thought from the finished product that it was painted with fingers but it was. 

 

I love my handy man.  He can get dirty with the best of them but then he can get just as pretty. 

Kids

Since having the twins I have been such a slacker of taking pictures of my kids.  They truly are the light of my life and bring me so much joy.  They are growing up so fast so I want to take as many pictures to capture them while they are young.

Aidan is just such a happy boy.  You can just see it in his face that he is just so full of life.  He is my snuggle buddy!

I love my little buddies.  They are growing up so much.  I love seeing them try to figure out how to do things.  They are at the age where they smile at you and are starting to coo and talk to you.

They love their play mat.  It keeps them busy for a long time.

 

I thought having twins would be hard but so far I love it!!! I feel very blessed to be the mother of twins.  It is truly something special.

Throw up Xs 3

One of the worst parts of being a parent is having your kids sick....especially when three are sick (throwing up) at the same time.  It wasn't a fun night so the next day they spent watching TV next to their throw up bowls.

I can only imagine the fun I will have when all five of my kids get sick at the same time.  They joys of motherhood!!!

Labor Day 5K

I have grown to love running. I never thought I would be a person who would enjoy it but it had definitely grown on me.  One of the hardest parts of being pregnant with twins was having to give up running. 

Well Labor day weekend Kennedy's stake was putting on a 5k so I thought why not?  What better way for me to start back up after the twins.  KK really wanted to go with me so we brought her scooter and she walked/ran with her G Ma and Papa.  It was a struggle since it was my first time running in almost a year but I somehow managed to finish it.

I have heard so much about the play "Wicked" and how good it was but until I saw it I just didn't know how good it really was.  I loved everything about it.  It was amazing.  I will definitely be seeing this again sometime in my life.

1st Day of School

I can not believe I have a 2nd grader and kindergartner. It is sad to have them gone during the day but it does allow me to give the twins and Corbin some undivided attention.

 

Here are the kids on their first day of school.  By the way, have I told you how much I love uniforms.  There is no fighting or arguing about what to wear.  It's just another reason why I love Somerset.

 So far they love school and are excited to go each day.  I hope that lasts all year.

Corbin missed a lot of naps this summer because of all it's craziness so this is him passed out on my chest for about 45 minutes while the other kids swam.

 

It was a fun crazy but pretty chill summer.  I am grateful for school to have started and me being back in a schedule.  I get so much more accomplished when I am on a schedule.

Twins Update

Why do kids especially babies have to grow so fast?  It seems like yesterday they were born and now they are three months old.  I really shouldn't complain since they sleep through the night now but I just want them to stay small for a long time.

My friend Julianne was in town so we met up at Karisa's house.  We all had kids within 5 months of each other and here are the kids together.
