Aidan 6th Bday

Aidan turned 6 and it started with his favorite breakfast.

We then took him shopping to spend his birthday money

   

It's tradition that dad makes whatever cake the kid wants so Aidan wanted Star Wars.

That night G Ma came over with presents and then watched the other kids so we could take Aidan on his birthday date.

We took him to Excalibur to play arcades

Then to see Tournament of Kings...where you eat dinner with your hands

He loved it but the night ended with him crying and losing his birthday presents.  After the show he wanted to play more arcade games and we told him no so he started to whine and say how much his birthday sucked and how we are so mean to him.  He just wouldn't stop so we told him until he started being grateful he would lose his toys he just got.  It took him about a week to earn it back.

This cute boy is six.  He has turned into such a boy this past year.  He loves anything legos and wii.  He would seriously play the wii all day if we let him

I am grateful to be the mommy to this sensitive and lovable little man!

9 year Anniversary

We have made it 9 years. I am so grateful for this man in my life.  He truly is my best friend and completes me in every way. This year we didn't do much for our anniversary cause we were going out the next night for Aidan's bday.  So that morning we took the kids to Hoover Dam and then we dropped the kids off to my moms while we went to eat Pho. 

We brought the kids home and then we watched the new season of Psych. It was a pretty relax day.  We have started to plan next years anniversary because a decade of being married needs to be celebrated in a big way.

Hoover Dam

Trevor let the kids watch Transformers and there is a part in the movie involving Hoover Dam so Trev told the kids we would take them there so they could see it in real life. It was a hot day but it ended with ice cream so it ended well. My kids love to say they had a Dam ice cream.

Summer 2013

This summer was kind of laid back cause Trev worked and lets be honest where am I going to go with five kids by myself.  So here is the random things we did this summer....

We have a membership to Discovery museum so we went there a couple of times

KK really wanted to go to Crystal Palace to go skating and I told her we would do it before the summer was over.  Well the week before school started I sent Trev with KK and Aidan,  Trev said KK was a natural and was off with the friend she made there. Aidan needed a lot of help but ended up doing pretty good. 

It was a fun chill summer but I am not going to lie...it is nice having them back in school with a schedule.
