We went to G Ma and Papas house for dinner and open presents.  By that time I was so exhausted and the twins weren't feeling good so I didn't get any pictures and we went home around 6. I felt bad leaving so early but the I was so exhausted.  We will definitely have to do something different in the upcoming years because it is too much to try and cram it all in into one day.

I am grateful this year though for the Christmas season.  It helps me refocus on what is truly important and why we celebrate this season.  I am grateful for my Savior and the love he has for me.  I am one blessed woman and sometimes I forget just how blessed I am so its nice to be reminded!

Christmas Eve

Christmas eve was fun this year.  We had all Trev's family over for some homemade Pho.  It was the best Trev's ever made.

Gingerbread houses

Another tradition we have for the holidays is to make our own gingerbread houses and decorate them.  My kids love it cause it gives them free rein on the candy and they eat more than they decorate with but  I guess that is part of the fun.

Aidan and Crew are seriously best buds even though they live so far away from each other.  So for Crew's bday this year Andrea took Aidan with her to Utah to visit Crew.  It was a surprise for Crew and he loved it.

The weather in Las Vegas has been so nice this winter.  It allowed us to still play outside and ride our bikes in December.

Sitting on Santa

For the past few years we have gotten invited to Trev's friends Christmas party.  They have Santa come and each kids gets to sit on his lap and tell him what they want.  At the end Santa calls each child by name and gives them a present out of his bag with their name on it.  My kids talk about it all year long.

Its tradition each year to have each kid pick out a new ornament for our Christmas tree.

Ward Christmas Party

Santa came to our ward chrismas party this year and the kids wanted to do nothing with him until they found out that you got a toy after you talked with him….so they all talked with him.

This was as close as Corbin would get to him….it was quite funny to watch

Award Ceremony

My kids do pretty well at school and for the most part love it.  I am grateful they got into a good school.  They did get a new principal this year so the changes have been a little difficult for the kids but I think things will work themselves out over the school year.

Quiet Kids

It is a rare thing in my house for things to be quiet, but every now and again the planets align and it happens.  It is usually when a movie is on and I will take what I can get when I can get it.

Twins 18 months old

My babies are 18 months old and I love this stage.  They are independent but still love to snuggle and love me.  They did not like getting their pictures taken and I am surprised that I got any that turned out half way decent.

Of course when it came time to get pictures together they were so over it and I was lucky to get these.  

This is the only way they would sit….Davyn with his pacifier and Jade with his thumb.

I love having twins and am grateful for two handsome little boys!
