News Year Eve Party

Waite Family New Years Eve Party.  We started off the night with a dance party then ate lots of food, played games and watched a movie.  We only made it to 11 before the kids were all done but it was a fun night.

We played the saran warp game.  We wrapped 3 balls of saran wrap and had hidden treats and toys inside.  They had to unwrap on layer at a time. It was a fun game and the kids loved their treats.

Red Rock with Friends

We love hiking at Red Rock. We took advantage of the beautiful weather over Christmas break and went on a hike.  We went with some friends,,,,Hollie and her family.  It was one we had dine before but we went further than we had and we found some really cool stuff.  We only had to turn around cause Davyn got his foot completely soaked in the little stream.

Whitney surprised us by coming into town.  She surprised us at In N Out.  It was a little chaotic but the kids truly love each other.  G Ma with her grandkids...minus Juliette.

Michelle Fun

When my friend Michelle comes to town it is fun time....or as my husband calls it Princess Time.

We went to a movie, played at Gravady, ate at PF Changs.

Later that week we did a couples date night.  We ate at a yummy mexican restaurant, and then did an escape room.  It was a lot of fun.  I want to do another one soon.

First Shooting Lesson

Aidan was so excited for his first shooting lesson.  Daddy taught him how to clean a gun first and then they took it out shooting.  

Aidan had so much fun and keeps asking how old he will have to be to get his own gun.

Christmas Eve and Christmas 2016

The next morning Davyn and Corbin came into my room at 4:15am. I told them they had to go back to bed until 6:30.  At 5:15, Corbin comes into my room crying that the clock is going to slow.  Oh to be young again and experience the excitement of Christmas.

At 7am we opened up presents....

After we went to church and then went to Tami's house for my families Christmas.

We then went to G Ma and Papa's house.  I took a nap, had good food, opened up presents, and played games,  We are so lucky to have family around,

Feeding the Homeless

KK had a great idea to help us remember the true meaning of Christmas.  She wanted to make lunches and bring them to the homeless.  So we had Great Grandma and Grandpa help us make and assemble 30 lunches.  

KK had an assembly line with the Grandparents making the sandwiches.

The twins decorated the bags.  Davyn helped daddy make the goodie bags of Christmas treats.  

Aidan and Corbin helped put all the other stuff into the bags.

We had everyone come in the car but KK was the only one who got out with us.  

It was truly humbling.  Within 30 seconds all the bags were gone.  As soon as we got out they started running to our car and when they were gone the ones who didn't get any were saying...gone already.  Next year we are going to include other families and we have a goal to make 1000 lunches, with hygiene kits, scarfs, gloves, and jackets.  We are truly blessed and have much to be grateful for.
