Twins Kindergarten Graduation

My babies graduated kindergarten today! I may have shed many tears this morning. I have loved watching them learn and grow this year. Their teacher Mrs. Pineda was amazing and helped them thrive this year. They went from my little babies to my little boys this year. I truly love being their mommy. 1st grade here they come!!!

The twins worked really hard this year and completed their first hundred sight words. I had promised them Bahama Bucks if they did so after graduation we celebrated their accomplishment!

American Challenge Award

Aidan is a rockstar. He is my self motivated child and when he sets his mind on something he does it. The school had a challenge this year to read 40 books. He finished that back in February so I issued him my own challenge to read 80 books by the end of the year and he is on his last book with 100 pages left. He has grown leaps and bounds this year and I have to ground him from his books when he doesn’t get his chores done. He has become obsessed and I secretly love it. This year he was also given the Great American challenge. He had to complete at least 3 of the six challenges but he went for it and did them all. He memorized all the presidents in order, states and capital, recite and write pledge of alligance, memorize preamble, memorize star spangled banner and memorize Gettysburg address. To say I am impressed is an understatement. I truly love this kid and can’t wait to see all that he accomplishes in junior high.

Close Call

Gott love boys!  They are always moving and doing something crazy.  Knock on wood I have only been to the ER twice with my kids. Once when KK was constipated and I thought it might be a appendicitis and once with Corbin when he swallowed a battery.  The twins were showering and goofing around and Jade fell and smacked his chin on the side of the tub. Luckily dad was home to take care of it....mom doesn't do well with blood.  We thought about getting stitches but decided to just butterfly it shut.  He missed the last couple of days at school so it didn't open back up but it healed nicely.

KK's 13th Bday

My baby girls is 13.  She is truly one of a kind and not afraid to be herself.  She is a light in this dark world.  She is funny and had the best one liner comebacks. She wanted to have a friend party this year that she planned. She had 5 girls from school come over.  They hung out. played at the park and watched movies.  It was fun to watch them laugh and giggle together.  They also loved scaring each other.

The next day we went to Trista's house to have a pool/fire pit party.

KK Award Ceremony

I am so proud of KK.  She works really hard and tries her best at whatever she is asked to do. This year she got in the top 10% of her class and received an award for it.

Choir Performance

KK had her last choir performance for the year.  I have loved watching her grow into the beautiful young woman she is.  She has so much talent.  I just hope she realizes it and can use that to bring happiness into the world.

She also played the piano for one of the songs

Me and my baby...all grown up

Peyton and Tami came out to support her.

Keep on rollin conference

We went to a cool conference.  We love Hank Smith so when we found out he was coming here we of course had to go.  We learned about about choosing to be happy.

I ran into my friend Anna.  Of course I didn't get any photos of us (Dad, Me, KK and Aidan)
