KK's 16th Bday

My baby girl turned 16.  It still seems surreal.  KK is an amazing young women. She is super funny and quick witted.  She is very loyal and protective of those she loves. She is determined and driven and when she puts her mind to something she makes it happen. She is such a help to me and helps with whatever I ask of her.  She is a great big sister and loves her little brothers. I love her to pieces and can't wait to see what she accomplishes in this life. 

She set up her driving test for the morning of her bday.  There was a mix up and there was a few minutes where they thought she wasn't scheduled but luckily that all got figured out quickly.  I was nervous for her to take it on her bday just in case she didn't pass but luckily for her she did.

That night we had a family bday party for her.  

 

Henderson Silver Knights

We scored some free tickets to the Silver Knights game so Dad, Davyn and I went. It was nice to get away and spend some one on one time.

 

Visit Grandparents and play in river

We took at trip up to St. George to visit the Grandparents.  I hate that we don't get to see them very often.  I miss them living down the street from us.  After the visit we planned a day of fun.  We rented scooters and rode them around the trail.  We ended with swimming in the river.

Ax throwing Date Night

My friend Aubrey had a birthday party but not just any ordinary party. It was an ax throwing party. This was Trevs and my first time. He caught on quickly and was really good.  I was hit or miss...literally....but fun nonetheless.

 

Tami's Sealing

I am so blessed to be a part of my sisters sealing.  My sister Tami has waited 17 years for this and it was worth driving back to participate in it.  I am grateful for the knowledge to know that I can be with my family forever.  I love the temple and miss going.

 

Girls Trip 2021

I have so many good fiends and I am lucky enough to sneak away once a year with this group to laugh and decompress.  This year was a little different because my sister Tami was getting sealed in the temple so I spent a day driving back and forth but it was still nice to get away.
