Clark County Fair

My kids love the fair.  They ask all year and count down to when they are able to go. It was nice weather this year and not busy.

Corbin went on this ride and loved it.  I was afraid he would cry but he kept wanting to ride it instead.

Jade and Davyn enjoying their ice cream cones.  Jade eats so fast and devours his food while Davyn is so slow and nibbles on it.  This picture doesn't do justice to the mess they made.

It was so fun! I am enjoying that my kids are getting older and events like these are getting more and more fun.  The countdown to next year has begun.

Valley of Fire Field Trip

I love the age KK is at. She is older and independent but still needs and enjoys when I am around.  She begged me to come on her field trip with her so I couldn't say no.  It was a hot but a lot of fun.  I loved seeing her interact with her friends.  She is such a good girl.

We went to 3 different spots and got to venture around and explore nature.  The girls loved it.

Enjoying the cubbies in the rocks

At our second stop there was this huge rock that all the kids were climbing.  KK would get half way up and then chicken out.  She tried it at least 5 different times but couldn't get past half way.

The kids found that on the other side it wasn't as steep so she went that way and made it to the top.  She is like her mother and afraid of heights.

I am glad I got to hang with my little girl.

Day at the park

In Vegas we only have perfect weather for a short few weeks.  It is either cold or blasted hot here besides a couple of weeks mixed in between those two where it is so nice outside it should be a sin to be in doors.  We have been trying to soak it all in by going to the park a lot.

I love these small moments in life!

New Things

I love getting new things.  Especially when they involve food.  Grandma G came over one day and said she wanted me to give me something new so she bought me this.  She of course couldn't come over without something for the kids also so she brought them their own individual bags with some balls and coloring books.
We tried the pan out that night and it made the perfect brownies.  Every piece had a crispy edge with a gooey center.  We love our new pan!

Waite Grandkids

Whitney came in town for her kids Spring Break and so we had all 10 Waite Grandkids together under one roof.  It doesn't happen very often so we had to take a picture with their Great Grandma and Grandpa.
