Ward Activity

Our ward had an activity up at Mount Charleston and it was a huge success.  We had rock climbing wall, zipline, volleyball, and pie eating contest.

After all the fun we had a fireside by Trevor. the kids loved it and we can't wait for next years activity.

18th Anniversary

Man, How did I get so lucky!!! 18 years is a long time but it seems like it was just yesterday when we said "I Do"  We have grown and learned so much. We went from young, inexperienced kids, to old people in a blink of an eye. I am just grateful we still like each other and have grown closer and more in love as the experiences and trials have shaped us.  I wouldn't want anyone else by my side and thankful he still makes me laugh and we can have fun during this crazy thing we call life.  I am thankful for the daddy he is to my kids.  I prayed and hoped for a man just like him to raise our children with.  He is kind, compassionate, hardworking and has high standards and he is a great example to our babies of what I hope they become.  

We had a flooded house and he went on the campout with Scoot so our anniversary was pretty low key but I wouldn't have it any other way.  

 

Aidan 15th Bday Party

Aidan turned 15.  His bday landed on the first day of school so we had to celebrate early.  He had a party at Gma's house.  They played pickle ball, spike ball, and hung out in the pool and spa.  I love his group of friends and love to see them interact.  I am lacking in taking pouters and trying to get teenagers to pose for one is a big task so this is all I got.

 

Deacons Camp

Corbin went on his first boys camp.  Last year they didn't have one because of Covid.  Trevor was able to go with him.  They went to duck creek in Utah.  All the boys met at the church.

then drove up to Utah and stopped for lunch.

Once at the cabin they went hiking, played tag and hide n go seek

 and at night had their come follow me lessons

 Corbin loved every second of it and came back saying he made friends with alot of the boys.  I love watching my boys grow up.  

Ice Skating

While my house was flooded, we went skating since we had already bought tickets and friends were already on their way.  It was probably a blessing for me to have time to think and call a water damage company.  What a way to end summer!!!

Flood

You know when your just having one of those days and you are just trying to make it through.  That would of been the day I was having.  It was coming to the end of the summer and I was trying to have the boys get their chores done before we went ice skating. It was supposed to be the last big hang out with friends before school starts back up.   It was about a half hour before we were supposed to head out and the twins come into my room telling me there is water leaking from the ceiling downstairs.  We had a toilet leak a few months back so I thought it was just a small leak again....nope.  Water was gushing out of my ceiling all over my floor.  I run up stairs to see what the cause is and I see both sinks stopped up with both of them with the water on. There cabinet is full of water, it is all over the floor, going through both walls into the bedrooms, out the bathroom and all the way down the hall.  Aidan was cleaning the bathroom and was filling the sinks to clean.  He walked away and forgot about them so just kept running for a long time.  It was so surreal that I couldn't even yell or get mad. I simply asked Aidan to get me towels and lets get it cleaned up.  We cleaned it up the best we could and we left to go ice skating.  Once we got home from ice skating we had a water damage company come out to cut holes in the ceiling and to start the drying out process.  It was 3 days of large hot fans going into the ceiling and all over the bathroom.

Good thing I love my boys!!!
