Memorial Day

I love holidays.  Especially ones where you get together as family.   We started our holiday off by getting sandwiches from Port of Subs and heading to Red Rock.  We have a little trail that the kids love. We love it too cause it is easy enough for the kids to hike it themselves and some of it is the shade so we don't over heat.  When we got to the top, we ate the lunch we had brought.

Here is everyone eating....

KK and her new friend she made found a frog.  The picture isn't the greatest but she was actually holding it.  I would never hold something like that.  I would of been grossed out.

Looking at the waterfall...

Corbin loves to eat dirt...so he was in heaven.

At the top of one of the rocks, there is soft sand the kids love to play in.  KK thought it was a good idea to fill her socks up with it.

Corbin loved throwing it on himself.

Aidan tried to make a castle with it.

At the end of the hike, it it tradition to have races up this rock.  We call it "our" rock.

Here is Aidan and Papa racing up it.

After our hike, we went back to G Ma and Papa's house to swim and eat.  It was a very nice and relaxing day.  I love those days!!!!

Corbin loves Salsa

Corbin loves salsa and he loves to climb, so when he can combine the two it is a deadly combination.  After dinner last week, we left the kitchen with out clearing off the whole table.  Corbin saw that Daddy's salsa was left out so he climbed onto the table to eat what was left of it.

This is what we found....

He was mad when we took him off the table.  This kid loves to eat!!!!

Cheer Camp

Kaitlyn was so excited when she found out about cheer camp at her school. It is only 4 days and on the last day the parents came so the kids can show them all they learned.  KK's group was called the Cheetah's.  They did 2 cheers and 1 dance to a Justin Bieber song.  She was so cute. She would watch the older girls and copy their moves.

At the end they gave out awards.  KK got the most spirited and most enthusiastic. Julianne and Karisa would have been so proud.

Anderson Dairy

We had play group once a month in our ward.  Each month we do something different.  This month we went and took a tour of Anderson Dairy.

They started with a presentation in a room where they had talking animals.

Trev was able to come since it is located in his area of work.  Corbin is a daddy's boy so he loved it.

Here are the talking animals.  This is Calcie the cow.

Then they gave us a tour of the factory and showed us how they make all their products.

Aidan found his girlfriend Tristyn.  They held hands the whole time.

Still holding hands while they walk

At the end, Tristyn's little sister Keastyn kept kissing Aidan and rubbing his back. She told me she was going to marry Aidan.  I guess there is going to be some competition between sisters. I guess Aidan is a chick magnet.  He is a sweet boy and so sensitive to others feelings.  He is going to be a great catch when he grows up.

Last Day of Preschool

Aidan has finished his first year of preschool..  I am amazed at how much he has learned and grown this year.  He knows all his letters and what sounds they make.  He can count to 20...minus 2 numbers.  He knows all his colors and almost all his shapes.  He talks so well now.  He uses complete sentences and you can actually understand every word.

Here he is with Miss Tiny on his last day of preschool.

I love that little boy!!!!

1st Father and Son Camping

Trev and Aidan had their first father and son camping trip.  They went up to Mt. Charleston for the night.  Trev said he had so much fun playing with his friends.

The boys playing frisbee.

Hanging out....right before they made a slide down the side of a hill.  While sliding down the hill, Aidan had to go #2.  He just dropped his pants and took a dump right then and there.  By the time Trev got to him, his pants were back up and he told Trev he used rocks to wipe himself.  Let's just say there was a little extra left over on his hands.  I am so glad I was not there to see that.  I guess these are things that happen when it's just boys.

If you can't tell but the amount of dirt on Aidan's face...he had so much fun.

KK Birthday Party

KK always wants a pool party for her birthday.  I am wayyy Ok with it cause it is so easy.  I really have no set up or clean up.  As long as I make sure there is pizza, cupcakes, and popsicles the kids take care of everything else.

G Ma and Papa were out of town again this year for KK's birthday so before G Ma went out of town she ordered KK these cupcakes and cookies.  They were a hit and I didn't even have to do anything.

Trev walked by and pushed Christina in the pool.

Trev holding on to Corbin so Christina couldn't push him in the pool.

KK had so much fun but now Aidan keeps asking for his birthday party.  I guess now that he will be turning 4, I will actually have to plan him his first birthday party.

KK turns 6

My daughter is officially 6.  I don't know where the time went.  It feels like yesterday I was bringing home by bundle of joy and now I am celebrating her 6th birthday.  Time really does fly by!!!!

We started the day off with her favorite breakfast.  It was scrambled eggs with chocolate milk.  She had to drink it in dad's special glass.

She then got to open all her presents. She kept saying....you shouldn't have.....or no you didn't.  I wonder where she got that from.

My 6 year old all ready for school.

KK sporting her princess crown Trev made her.  She also got her superwoman cape and her boots she had been asking for.  I love her style.

She requested Pho for dinner and since she gets whatever she wants for her birthday that is what she got.  My kids love Pho and so do we.  I am just glad she didn't ask for McDonald's.  Kennedy came with us and she brought with her a cupcake.  I totally forgot about that so luckily she was on top of it.

Corbin enjoying his Pho.

Me and the boys...I didn't feel good so I was just trying to make it through the night as quick as possible.

I love my little...princess pink stink, bear, KK, and midget.  She truly makes me happy and I am just glad I get to be her mommy!
