Dye Easter Eggs

Easter was kind of low key this year cause of course I have no energy.  We just dyed Easter eggs.  The kids had fun drawing designs on the eggs.

KK and I loved eating the eggs.  Nobody else liked them but that just left more for us!

Hospital Stay

My first admittance to the hospital this pregnancy.

I had been feeling really crappy on Wednesday and had no energy.  That night I woke up at 1 am in such pain that I could no longer sleep.  My eyes felt like they were going to pop out of my head.  I would go from hot to shivering and vice versa.  I couldn't breathe.  Finally around 4am, I woke Trev up and made him go to the store to buy me Tylenol, since that is all I can take and of course we have none.  I take it and it makes me feel better but not great.  Around 5 in the morning. I finally feel OK enough to take a shower.  It makes me feel better and I am able to sleep from 530 to 730 before I have to get up and get KK ready for school.  Around 930 that morning, I start feeling like I want to die again.  Plus, I can't remember feeling the babies move all night.  I call my doctor and she tells me to go directly to the hospital.  We get the kids situated and head to the hospital.  They admit me and instantly hook me up to monitor the babies.  They tell me I am really dehydrated and put an IV in.  After a while of being monitored and getting bombarded with fluids, I start to feel a lot better. They release me a little while later and tell me to keep myself hydrated.  I thought I was but apparently not.  It still took me a few days to start feeling like myself again, but it was nothing like that first day.  I can't remember that last time I felt that bad.  I just hope its my last hospital stay until the babies are born.

Maternity Shoot

I have never gotten maternity pictures taken.  Just the thought of having proof of how big I am never excited me.  I don't know what has changed.  It probably has something to do with the fact that I know this will be my last pregnancy.  So my friend has an awesome camera that she is still learning about and she offered to play around taking pictures of me and the kids.  I thought why not?  Who knows what these pictures will mean to me in 10 or 20 years.

We made an afternoon of it.  We packed snacks and picked up a pizza for dinner and headed to the park.

I was 30 weeks when these pictures were taken. I think some of them turned out really cute.

KK is gorgeous and she loves to take pictures so the ones with her turned out the best.

Corbin wanted nothing to do with me and he would smile fine if I wasn't close by.

I have proof that at one time in their life they liked each other.

He's my bud and when he saw KK taking pictures he was more than happy to give it a try...his attention span just isn't as long as hers.

This is the only half way cute picture I have with him and as you can tell it is not taken very willingly on his behalf.

I am so grateful for my kids even when they are being naughty.

Weekend in Utah

We love Utah and we love getting so see Trev's sister, Whitney and her family.  We just don't get up there very often with Trev's school.  Aidan especially loves it cause he has his "best friend" cousin Crew.  They are less than 4 months apart and they are inseparable when we are up there.  They truly are best buds in every way and play so good together.

Well we had the opportunity to go up there recently cause Whitney's new baby, Jude was getting blessed.  We went up on Friday and came back Sunday.  It was a fast trip but well worth it.

KK and Aidan rode up with G Ma and Papa on Thursday. Peck and Annabelle rode up with me and Corbin on Friday morning, and Trevor and Kell flew up late Friday night.

While we were there, we went to our favorite Rec center and let the kids swim.  Corbin loved it cause the water is swallow enough in one part that he can go up and down the slides all by himself.

**Disclaimer what I am about to write is really gross but I don't want to forget it** While we were driving up on Friday, KK and Aidan went swimming with everyone at the Rec Center.  While they were there, Aidan jumped out of the pool, pulled down his pants and took a dump on the side of the pool. He had to go so bad and waited to long so that was his only option.  I about died when I heard that.  Only my boy would wait so long and think he had no option but crapping on the side of the pool.  I am so glad I was not there for that incident.

Saturday night, we went to a place called the Yellow Submarine.  It has huge portions and so everyone shared a sundae.

My kids were exhausted by the end of the weekend but it was well worth it.

Swimming in March

Where else in the world is it nice and warm enough to swim outside in the middle of March?  I guess it is one of the perks of living in Vegas.  We took advantage of the nice weather and set up our pool. The kids had fun outside for hours until it got to windy.

They had a blast!

Pink Eye Break Out

How did we get so lucky?  We had a pink eye breakout in our house and of course we all can't get it at the same time.  It was a 3 week process and we also passed it on to Trev's mom and niece.

It started with KK.  I got a call from the nurse one afternoon asking me to come pick up KK cause she had pink eye.  She got it the worst.  I have never seen eyes this swollen before.

I tried to sanitize everything and keep the kids away from her but 5 days later, when I think we are out in the clear, Aidan and Corbin wake up with it.  Yeah! We start the eye drops all over but with our luck 5 days later, Trev and I wake up with the pink eye.  Really!  I haven't had pink eye since I was a kid.

Anyways, after a couple of days we are over it or so I think.  Trev wakes up with it a second time.  By now, I am so over it.  I get so anal and ask him every five minutes if he has washed his hands.  I am sure he was sick of me but there was no way it was getting spread around again.

Gotta love school and how kids love to share everything...especially germs.

Girls Weekend 2012

This is the 3rd Annual Girls trip.  We did it 2 months earlier this year so I could go.  We went to Sun Valley, Idaho and stayed in our friend Britney's cabin.  It was so fun and nice to get away but it was also pretty low key since 2 of us were pregnant and limited us on what we could do.

We drove around and took in the sights.  This is a picture of us stopped on the side of the road.

Walking down to the lodge so Christina could call her husband.  This is on our way back up to our cabin.  Of course we saw this sign and made Britney climb through 10 feet up snow to take a picture by it.

Cooking dinner and all that comes with it

Getting ready to go outside to take pictures of everyone else sledding

Everyone all bundled up to attempt to sled down the hill by our cabin.  It was quite hilarious to watch them.

Instead of tie dying our t shirts this year, we water marked them with a saying.  It was a long process but it was fun. We also made some scarves made out of our husbands t shirts. We are wearing our shirts and scarves that we made.

It's tradition that we all have a mini photo shoot of each of us in our shirts.  I think this might be that funniest part of our trip.I only included one picture of each of us, but just imagine all the poses and faces we had fun making.

Our trip also included us playing games, eating and watching movies.

The last picture we took before we headed home.

It was so fun and I can't wait until next year.

While mom's away....the kids will play

We did our annual girls trip two months earlier this year so I could go.  My friends love me that much.  While I was away, the kids had lots of fun with their daddy.  They started their weekend off by going to the dump.  We had a dishwasher we needed to get rid of.

Aidan loved it and KK hated it.

They went to the park.  Here is Corbin trying to tackle Aidan (which he can do and does a lot)

 Corbin trying to blow dandelions

Aidan doing the same.  I love the little things in life that the kids take time to enjoy.

He took them to the temple.  How did I get so lucky to have such cute kids?  I love Corbin's smile in this picture.

They enjoyed their time away from mommy and I enjoyed my time not being a mommy.  I am grateful for a husband who encourages me to get a way and have fun!

Glow in the Dark Craft

This pregnancy has definitely make me tired and I don't have a lot of energy at the end of the day.  My kids are used to doing things like crafts and such on a regular basis but that hasn't been the case for the last 6 months.  So needless to say, when I pulled out a craft one night they were excited.

We made glow in the dark sand art.  It was definitely messy but luckily you could only see it when the lights were out.  My kids had a blast, especially Corbin.  He loved to put his hands all in the sand and move them really fast.  It was actually kind of cool to watch.

Look at that smile....cause he knows he is doing something bad.

He is always my happy boy

She has gotten so big.

Corbin moving his hands reall fast.
